On Wednesday afternoon, reggae lyricist Kabaka Pyramid announced that he would unveil his new album, The Kalling, later this month.
Though details surrounding the project remain guarded, he noted that it was executively produced by Damian ‘Junior Gong’ Marley (Ghetto Youths International) and will become available via all major digital and streaming platforms on Friday, September 30.
The Kalling, which has been in the works for some time, will be the follow-up to his 16-track effort Kontraband released over four years ago.
Following the album’s release, the singer is expected to embark on a 23-city U.S tour dubbed “The Kalling” alongside Nattali Rize and Jordan T to promote the compilation. The excursion commences on October 4 at the Nectar Lounge in Seattle, Washington and culminates at the Ocean Deck in Daytona, Florida, on November 12.
Less than a month before the official release date, The Kalling is now available for pre-order on several prominent digital platforms.
