Dancehall superstar Sean Paul continues to reign supreme on the Swedish streaming platform Spotify. Based on recent monthly statistics, the Get Busy deejay remains the top streaming Jamaican on the platform, with over 24.9 million monthly streams.
In second place is deceased reggae legend Bob Marley with 16.1 million, Mr Boombastic Shaggy secures the third spot with 14.4 million, followed by Shenseea, who recently surpassed 7 million streams for the fourth spot, eclipsing OMI 6.1 million. He rounds off the top 5.
Noticeably, Shenseea is also the only Jamaican female in the top 5, which denotes another milestone for her.
Paul recently performed at the Reggae Lake Festival in Amsterdam as part of his ongoing tour to promote his latest album Scorcha. The Grammy Award-winning entertainer also used the opportunity to salute African superstar Burna Boy who was in the house with his mother/manager Bose Ogulu, on his current achievements in music.
