In an operation carried out by the Negril Resorts Area Police, the lawmen are reporting that they have recovered a significant haul of gadgets and cash worth millions allegedly stolen from partygoers at Dream Weekend in Negril.
According to the report, law enforcement officials in the resort town on Sunday, July 31, arrested three men and retrieved over J$2 million in phones and other digital devices along with J$200,000 and £30.
Among the items recovered are 16 iPhones, ranging from the latest Pro Max 13 to earlier versions, 2 Samsung Galaxy smartphones, 2 Apple notebooks, 36 R-Sims, and several cables and adapters.
Tourism Liaison Officer Sergeant Gladstone Sealy says the three men in custody will face the courts on Wednesday, August 3, to answer the charges as the search continues for two additional men in the ongoing investigation.
