Now, the Jamaican dancehall star has followed that major live milestone with another achievement, as his third studio album, Forever Reign, debuts at No. 4 on the Billboard Reggae Albums chart, giving the Def Jam recording artist a powerful one-two combination of arena momentum and chart success.
Released on August 14 via Def Jam Recordings, Forever Reign arrived just ahead of Masicka’s debut U.S. headline arena performance on August 15. The Barclays Center show became a major showcase for the Genasyde leader, who moved through hits including “Whites”, “They Don’t Know”, “Hard Ball”, “Top Form” and “Like Gold”, backed by choreography, visual production and a Caribbean-inspired cultural segment.
