Fresh off a soulful performance at the Romain Virgo and Friends Mother’s Day concert, Jamaican songbird Sevana is setting her sights on international stages with the upcoming Need Me UK Tour. The three-stop showcase, set for June 17 to 19, will see the ‘Nobody Man‘ singer bringing her smooth vocals and captivating stage presence to Bush Hall in London, Blues Kitchen in Manchester, and Hare and Hounds in Birmingham.
Joining her on this exciting musical excursion is none other than Grammy- and Emmy-nominated artist-producer Tessellated, who is actively promoting his newly released single “Georgina.” The infectious track, produced in collaboration with MahfiaMadeIt, dropped on May 15 and serves as a sonic blend of Jamaican and Latin flavours. “We wanted to create a blend of Jamaican and Latin sounds to make something that would get people moving at the start of summer,” Tessellated shared. “The lyrics are based on a real-life experience… even though her name wasn’t actually Georgina, haha.”
The collaboration between Sevana and Tessellated not only highlights the synergy of Jamaica’s rising stars but also adds global appeal to their artistry. While Sevana gears up to deliver emotionally rich performances that echo her signature sound, Tessellated’s rhythmic storytelling is poised to energise crowds across the U.K. before he kicks off his U.S. Fall Tour in October, which includes stops in New York, Los Angeles, and Chicago.
With both acts standing at the forefront of Jamaica’s new wave of rising talent, the Need Me UK Tour promises to be an exciting, culturally rich experience that signals a vibrant summer ahead for Caribbean music.
