Dancehall sensation Pablo YG is celebrating his 21st birthday in grand style, unveiling his latest single, Celebration, alongside fellow Ocho Rios native Jahvillani. The track, produced by YGF Records and released via VP Records, marks the lead single from his much-anticipated debut album, Key to the Century, set to be unveiled later this year. With an infectious chorus and lyrics reflecting his hard-earned success, Celebration has the potential to be a summer anthem.
Pablo YG’s milestone year in music has been nothing short of remarkable. In March 2024, he was honoured as the Most Promising Entertainer of the Year at the International Reggae and World Music Awards (IRAWMA), affirming his status as one of dancehall’s brightest rising stars. His seven-track EP, Rich N Richer, further confirmed his place in the industry, boasting collaborations with Kranium and Valiant. The project’s standout track, States, accompanied by a visually captivating music video, resonated with fans globally and showcased his artistic evolution.
His steady ascent has not gone unnoticed. Rich N Richer captured attention from international media outlets like Billboard and Viper Mag, while streaming giant Kai Cenat gave it a major boost by reacting to the title track live on stream. With millions of views and streams across platforms, Pablo YG’s influence in the dancehall scene continues to grow. His first annual Juvi Fest, held on February 22, brought out a star-studded lineup, including Skeng, Valiant, Skippa, and Jahvillani, proving his ability to draw crowds and command the stage.
Now, as he gears up for a U.K. tour starting April 5, Pablo YG is stepping into the next chapter of his career with Key to the Century on the horizon. If his current momentum is any indication, the young dancehall star is well on his way to defining the genre’s new era.
