As the sun sets on a vibrant Jamaican summer, Pepsi Cola Jamaica has reignited the flame of nostalgia with the return of its beloved beverage, “Pepsi Bubbla.” After more than a decade since its initial introduction, the iconic drink is making a bold comeback, and this time, it’s led by dancehall sensation D’Yani. The singer, known for his smooth vocals and magnetic stage presence, is the new face of the “Pepsi Bubbla” campaign, unveiled this week across social media platforms, following a soft launch at Reggae Sumfest in July.
D’Yani stars in a vibrant 30-second commercial that encapsulates the essence of Jamaican life—energetic, refreshing, and full of flavour. Joining him in the visual showpiece are notable personalities Desha Davis, Daindra Harris, and Russhaine “Dutty Berry” Berry, each bringing their unique flair to the screen. The “Pepsi Bubbla” campaign is a celebration of local culture, music, and, of course, the unmistakable fruity flavours that make the beverage a standout in PepsiCo’s diverse portfolio.
This latest initiative is part of Pepsi’s broader “New Beats, Same JamaICAN Flava” campaign, first introduced in April at a lively event on the East Lawns of Devon House. The campaign aims to connect with the youth through a dynamic fusion of music, culture, and the brand’s deep-rooted Jamaican heritage. Pepsi’s brand coordinator, Karonna Atkins, emphasized this focus, stating, “Through ‘New Beats, Same JamaICAN Flava,’ we honour our commitment to the vibrant culture that continues to inspire our brand.”
With D’Yani at the helm, Pepsi Bubbla is sure to continue its domination of the Jamaican beverage scene, resonating with both mature fans and a new generation of soda lovers.
