Acclaimed reggae singer Christopher Martin, who recently dazzled the audience at the 2024 Penn Relays in the United States, has now stepped into a new role as the latest brand ambassador for Hyundai, the South Korean automotive giant. This announcement came on Friday, May 10, following a formal agreement with the Jamaican dealership.
In a synergistic collaboration, Martin and the dealership took to Instagram to unveil the partnership, featuring the Hyundai Palisade, one of the brand’s premium SUVs. The accompanying caption, “It’s a BIG DEAL! #HyundaiLand help us welcome our newest Brand ambassador to the family,” emphasized the significance of the occasion. Etmour Williams, the Commercial & Customer Relationship Manager, played a pivotal role in sealing this exciting association.
The news elicited an outpouring of congratulations from luminaries within the local entertainment industry. Romain Virgo, ZJ Sparks, CeCile, Alaine, and Omi were among those who expressed their delight and support for Martin’s latest achievement.
Martin’s ascent to brand ambassadorship follows a series of successes, including his recent triumphs at the International Reggae and World Music Awards (IRAWMA) held in March. At the event, he clinched two prestigious accolades: the Jacob Miller Award for ‘Best Male Vocalist‘ and the Hon. Shelvin L.M. Hall and Hon L. Priscilla Hall Award for ‘Best Gospel Song,’ the latter bestowed for his soul-stirring rendition of “Goodness of God.”
With his distinctive talent and growing acclaim, Christopher Martin continues to leave an indelible mark on both the music industry and, now, the automotive sphere as the newest face of Hyundai.
