Brianna Destiny McKoy, daughter of legendary sound system selector Ricky Trooper, was found dead inside her condominium in Bridgeport, Connecticut, on Thursday.
Law enforcement officers were called to the scene, where they discovered the 23-year-old unresponsive, with evidence suggesting she had been fatally shot.
The police have stated that they are treating the incident as a homicide and have identified a suspect in the case. Brianna was known to have a connection with the perpetrator, and authorities requested the public’s assistance in locating him.
Although Garfield Mckoy, also known as Ricky Trooper, has yet to comment on the matter, sources close to the family have revealed that he and his daughter were extremely close.
