Pink has claimed her fourth chart-topping album with impressive sales for Trustfall (RCA).
The album, which is Pink’s ninth studio release, debuted at No. 1 with a total of 37,570 copies sold in its first week. This is the highest weekly sale of 2023 so far and the highest since Taylor Swift’s Midnights held the top spot in early November.
Trustfall achieved a balanced sales breakdown with 21,168 CDs, 3,300 vinyl albums, 332 cassettes, 7,126 digital downloads, and 5,644 sales-equivalent streams.
Pink’s 2010 compilation Greatest Hits…So Far!!! also returned to the Top 40 this week with 2,504 sales, climbing from 46 to 34.
Previously, Pink achieved No. 1 albums with Funhouse (2008), Beautiful Trauma (2017), and Hurts 2B Human (2019).
According to Music Week’s charts analysis by Alan Jones, five Pink albums have achieved UK consumption of a million units. The US singer’s total album sales in the UK are 9,443,507, with her second studio album, Missundaztood (No.2 in 2002), reaching the highest sales of 1,883,951.
Pink also made an impact on the singles chart this week, with When I Get There debuting at No. 44 with 8,808 sales. This becomes her 44th charting single.
In addition to her album success, Pink has now achieved 30 Top 20 hits, with Trustfall climbing 35-14 with 18,092 sales and her track Never Gonna Not Dance Again moving 40-19 with 13,444 sa
